The stately vintner mansion was build in 1898 and extended by an annex with separate entrance in 1966. In 1998, comprehensive modernisations were carried out and the property is in a good structural condition. The winery reception rooms on the ground floor level can also be used as living area, and on the upper floors there are enough rooms for a boutique hotel or -apartments. The winery was one of the largest in the area, but is not active at present. There is however a large stock of exquisite wines and an optional vineyard of 12500 m² below the property, so that a gradual activation of the business is possible. To re-activate the winery would be the curent owner's wish, but the business premises are very flexible in their use and also suitable for other commercial purposes, like a larger hotel-restaurant or other residential projects.
The property is located in a wonderful Mosel-view location outside the flood zone on the outskirts of Brauneberg near Bernkastel-Kues. The views from many rooms and from the large terrace is breathtaking in every season.
