The timber-framed properties, which are connected by a bridge construction, date back to around 1660. In the last 15 years both houses were comprehensively and with much love for detail modernised and converted. Original features were retained and antique materials used so that the properties are presented with unique historic charachter. All necessary modernisations were carried out, so that the property is technically up-to-date. For instance, the roof was completely insulated and newly slated, all the electrics and plumbing were renewed and a new oil-central-heating system fitted. Currently, the former vintner house is used for holiday lets and the converted smithy with barn is used by the owner as a second home. On the romantic, cobbled terrace, you can enjoy the summer with a nice glass of wine and enjoying the historic flair.
