The hotel-restaurant was built in 1903 and comprehensively modernised over the last years, so that the hotel and restaurant business can be carried on without any further investment. In 2002, the loft was converted to a 64 m² owners' apartment. The guest bedrooms were renewed in 2005, and the complete restaurant area was modernised in 2011. The guest-bedrooms all have their private bathroom and are furnished with high-quality interiors. For the guests there is also a sauna and an outside terrace, the kitchen is up-to-date and very well equipped. A special highlight is the vaulted wine cellar, which offers enough room for functions and events in a historic setting. The occupancy of the hotel is very good and guarantees a good income, since the famous Traben-Trarbach Christmas market in the vaulted wine cellars of the town attracts many visitors also in the winter.
